We had a fantastic time meeting everyone who stopped by our booth at this year's Automate 2024 show in Chicago! It was a pleasure to connect and share our latest technology with you. If you weren't able to attend not to worry— we've documented the show daily for you highlighting each of our exciting demonstrations. This year, explore the accuracy, simplicity and reliability of our solutions, discover force feedback and say goodbye to pneumatics through our force controlled linear motors. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions — we'd love to hear from you!

Accurate, Simple, Reliable Linear Electric MotorsPRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V & ORCA-15-48V At our demo station we control the Orca motors using the IO SmartHub to manage Force, Position, Kinematic and Haptic modes through simple digital and analog inputs. This mode is ideal for force-feedback control applications and instances where our linear smart motor interacts with a person.

Discover Force Feedback with Force Sensing Linear MotorsPRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V Our Weight & Position demo has three modes showcasing three distinct features – Orca motor positioning, force sensing and force linking. In the following video we demonstrate the first application feature, sensed position highlighting the force sensing linear motor's sensing abilities and low-latency communication.

Discover Force Feedback with Calibrated WeightsPRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V The second functionality of our Weight & Position demo displays the force sensing ability of the Orca motors. The third application highlights force linking of the two motors. As if they were mechanically linked, the low latency linear actuator's match each other's position through digital communications.

Say Goodbye to PneumaticsPRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V With our final demo we are highlighting a pneumatic replacement with our Orca motor. The IO SmartHub is the simplest way to integrate the Orca Motors with industrial PLC systems, becoming a direct drop-in replacement for pneumatic actuators. Its digital inputs work with the Orca Series Motors’ kinematic operating mode which surpasses the performance of a traditional pneumatic actuator, with the exact same control signals.
