Feature Highlight: PLC Force Sensing Demonstration
The Orca Analog Interface allows bidirectional 4-20mA current loop and digital triggers to be used to interface with common PLC hardware. The Orca's integrated an on-board kinematics controller can be programmed to perform complex actions with simple triggers, in this example an Allen-Bradley Micro820 is used to demonstrate bi-directional communication and commanding of the Orca Series Linear Motor.
We have put together two demonstrations that allow the user to input force and position measurements that the motors will sense and output.
