Force Sensing Demo

PRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V 
CONTROLLERS USED: ORCA ANALOGUE INTERFACE, ALLEN BRADLEY MICRO820 PLC

This project demonstrates two standard features of Iris Dynamics linear motors: force sensing and onboard kinematic control. This project also demonstrates our newest product, the Orca Analogue Interface, which converts analogue inputs to digital Modbus RTU messages. 

Sensors Demo

PRODUCTS USED: ORCA-6-24V, ORCA-6-48V 
CONTROLLERS USED: IRIS WINDOWS VIRTUAL DEVICE

This project demonstrates the accuracy of the position and force sensors used in the Orca Series motors. Sensed weight and position are displayed on a tablet and can be compared to a calibrated set of calipers, and a set of calibrated weights.
