MATLAB is a standard tool in research and development environments. Modbus RTU libraries allow MATLAB to communicate directly with ORCA motors at limited communication rates. Because MATLAB is limited in communication rate, it is more suited to modes that don’t require constant external input like Kinematic and Haptic mode. MATLAB can be used in tandem with IrisControls.
